Elderly Unity....

Yesterday, as I took my daughter to the playground just in front of my house, I met an old chinese uncle who also brought his grandson to play there. I said hi and we engaged in a basic conversation. I asked him where he came from as I noticed that his malay is quite fluent with some Terengganu accent. I was proven right as he is originally from Pulau Kambing, Terengganu and is here to stay with his daughter. We went into a more intimate conversation as we're 'sekampung' and to my surprise, his wife was from the same 'kampung' as my mother and in fact just 2 doors away from my grandmother's house. He even recognise my uncle who passed away last year and noticed that I have some physical resemblance to him.

He asked me to call my mother and invited us to his house which is just 4 doors away from my house. What a small world. My mother straight away recognised the nyonya addressed as 'Mek Bujang' (according to my mother she was called Bujang as she got married very late). Mek Bujang did not recognise my mother because my mother moved out of the house some 30 years ago after getting married but she remembers strongly of my grandmother (Mok Ngoh Mek) and my great grandmother (Mok Ngoh Nye). The conversation got louder with laughter and walk down the memory lane.

What really fascinate me was that their closeness, really like old family friends regardless of race. The smell of 'colok cina' inside the house did not really affected my mother in talking with Mek Bujang with their hands holding each other. Wow...!!! So much for the race issue raised by so many Malays (especially UMNO Malays) nowadays.

So Mek Bujang told me that their families were very close together during those old days that even my great grandmother often went to her house to borrow some jewelleries whenever she wanted to go to weddings or kenduri. They even lend monies between each other during time of need.

Then she came out with this exact statement - "Kite, orang dulu dulu, memang rapat macam adik beradik doh. Dok kire cine ke melayu. Le ni jer sibuk baloh pasal melayu ngan cine. Dok tahu la bakpe. Melayu le ni banyok ngat deki ke cine padahal cine ni cume nok cari makang je. Kalu kite duduk molek macam zamang dulu dulu, sama sama boleh carik makang."

Translation - All of us were very close those days regardles of Malay or Chinese. Only now the Malay and Chinese are fighting against each other and don't know why. The Malays are envy of the Chinese although the Chinese are only making their ends meet. If all of us live like the old days, everyone will be happy.

The politicians are the one to be blame for all this regardless of their parties. They will play this issue in their political struggle. They will raise this sentiment when they want support especially from people within their own organisation. They will talk about this when they need to maintain their position so that they will be fatter and fatter.

The fact is, they forgot about all this when money is involved. When they got paid millions of RM to approve projects. When they receive millions of gifts just to persuade approvals. ETC...

Be reminded that in Islam, all humans are His servants regardless of their race. What differ is only their 'IMAN'. But still, muslims are taught to treat others with respect.

So much we can learn from the past or the least just learn something from the elderly. They are wiser in that sense when no personal interest involved.

I totally agree... What say you...???

RM16m Windfall - stupid FOMCA...

This is what was published in The Star last Saturday:

Government makes RM16mil a day from fuel windfall
By IZWAN IDRIS and LESTER KONG
KUALA LUMPUR: The Government is set to get windfall gains of up to RM16mil per day based on yesterday’s crude oil price of US$44 (RM158.40) per barrel and a consumption estimate of 27.5 million litres per day .
This windfall comes about because the pump prices of fuel have not been reduced enough to reflect the lower crude prices, oil analysts said.
This has prompted the Federation of Malaysian Consumer Associations (Fomca) to request the Government to reveal how it plans to spend the windfall revenue.
Its secretary-general Muhd Sha’ani Abdullah urged the Government to invest the money in public transportation for the benefit of everyone.
The crude oil price in New York fell to a four-year low at below US$44 per barrel yesterday, dragged down by demand worries amid the worsening outlook of the global economy.

At this level, the market price for RON 97 grade petrol should be about RM1.30 per litre, which is 60 sen lower than the RM1.90 per litre Malaysians are currently paying, the analysts said.

WOW....!!!! RM16m a day?? Making money out of our misery?? SO cunning.. Although in another article Shahrir Samad denied this but his arguments was so weak and general. Of course the calculation was based on current price which is much cheaper that the previous average price and this new price will come into effect for the next 2 weeks or so. I totally understand that but the point is... -> THE GOVERNMENT IS MAKING MONEY OUT OF OUR MISERY!!!

The govt decided to increase the fuel price from RM1.92 to RM2.70, a very significant and burdening 40% increase, which resulted in sudden surge of goods price especially consumer goods. Despite advises from many analysts saying that the increase in global crude oil price was only temporary, the govt ignored all these saying that this can further affect our future generation...??? SO blindly stupid as if we cannot survive now then how can there be any future generation? I was against this statement as I personally feel that although we want to safeguard the interest of our future generation ie our children, we should never sacrifice our own interest up to that level because if we cannot survive now then can we expect our children can survive later?

Back to the issue, the govt decision was the major contributor to the surge of consumer goods price. The analysts were proven right when not even half a year, the crude oil price started to fall an now even hit the lowest level in 4 years, much lower when they decide to increase the fuel price. The problem now is the price of goods do not fall in parallel with the drop of fuel price. They do in certain outlets but not as drastic as the increase. Most of the businesses are still maintaining the same price.

This is what I want to highlight actually.... -> Federation of Malaysian Consumer Associations (Fomca) to request the Government to reveal how it plans to spend the windfall revenue...!!!????

Hei buffalo....!!! Ask the govt to reveal its plan on how to spend?? SO stupid buffalo ass lickers...

1. The stupid and corrupt govt will never disclose to you the real spending using that surplus fund. They will definitely allocate most of it to fatten up their belly so why they want to disclose to you the real truth. In the same statement, this idiot Muhd Sha'ani Abdullah urged the govt to invest in public transportation for the benefit of the people. The people?? Who?? Us or the cronies or their families? RapidKL is under Pak Lah's family regime. So this idiot must have meant to invest the money in public transportation for the benefit of Pak Lah's family la... OOOOOooo... Cakap biar terang...!!!

2. The hike of consumer goods price was directly due to the increase in fuel price. Therefore, simply reduce the fuel price further and not just 10 cents. For the least, we can have a cheaper petrol for our cars and therefore saves us more money which will be used to buffer the high consumer goods price. I erally think this is very plain and straight forward thinking already and need no position in FOMCA to come out with this. Why is this idiot so stupid not to come out with this kind of thinking? Why ask the govt to spend on something else?

Bodoh will still be bodoh if that person does not want to learn but stupid ass lickers can never be changed forever.. LOST... RIP..

Boooorrrrriiiiinnnnnngggggg!!!!!

One very good lesson that I've learnt from current political situation -> Damn Bloody Boring... Same old story over and over again..

Politicians will always want to do things that will benefit their political career which in return will benefit their big stomach and which will end up resulting the people to suffer more. This scenario applies to all politicians regardless of their party or ideology. They totally forgot that they are actually 'machai' of the people as we have elected them to work for our benefit.

Instead of working hard securing our interest, they look for opportunities to fatten their belly first then only if ever they have some courtesy, they will give some back to the people. This can be seen in UMNO, MCA, MIC, PKR, DAP, PAS, etc... Why?

It is because, not only politicians do politics. We, the ordinary people, also do politicking especially office politics, friendship politics, family politics, etc. Politic has always been in ourselves. My wife read me a "bedtime" story last night about her office politics. I always have this thought that big international companies will have a very comfortable, pleasant working environment with less office politics. But I knew I was wrong the moment my wife spoke her heart out.

The meritocracy system that should be implemented in all aspects of our life is still very much exposed to politicking as it leaves out some subjective element of people's discretion / opinion in determining the reward or who should be rewarded. As in my wife's case, the performance of an employee will almost totally depending on the discretion of his/her superior in rating their appraisal. Leaders will face the risk of being blinded by those ass lickers and thus making others look less committed.

Yes.... I really think that the term "ass lickers" is just as similar as "politicians". Unfortunately, the asses that they lick are not ours - just their superiors which are also politicians. They have to do that for their political survival which will lead back to fatten up belly and so so so so so...... bla bla bla..... boring boring boring.......!!!!

Will there be any one good samaritans join politics just for the cause of helping us the people?? NO WAY.... I assume that these good people do not know how to lick asses and therefore definitely cannot be a politician.

I've spoken to a long time good friend of mine whose wife is quite actively involved in PKR and told me that his wife is no longer active as she was not happy with few leaders of PKR especially from the youth wing. HHHmmmmm... Why there's any indifference? Simple... The objective is not the same. They are fighting for the same cause which is to serve the people. If everyone in the party work that, I can guarantee there will no rift arises. I bet on my last few dollars in my pocket now.

This is what happening in PKR, the party that should be fighting in the spirit of Malaysians. Who shouted of reform to the whole country, who pledged that they will stay true to their battle. BULLSHITS....!! Same old story... BBBOOOOORRRRRRIIIIINNNGGG!!!!!

Zaid Ibrahim was sacked from UMNO for attending DAP dinner and PKR congress... Hahahahaha!!! So stupid. You have different political view so you can't be friends?? Then I will have to stop being friends with so many of my childhood frineds, schoolmates, officemates, bosses, and so on.... Wow..!! Frightening isn't it??

Capt Zahar is suspended for criticising the current leadership. So stupid... Leaders who do not want to hear critics should not be leaders at all. Check and balance is non existence in UMNO. Furthermore, what he was criticising involves taxpayer's money and not just UMNO's money. He spoke out against irregularities and potential fraud or power abuse. Although it is a known secret that he is Tun Madey's crony, but still he pointed out relevant issue that should be addressed by the government especially on the helicopter issue. Poor him but again suits you as you also have been one of millions leeches sucking taxpayers' money.
Will there be any saviour to our sufferings? O God the AlMighty... Please answer our prayers in the likes of a saviour...!!

Good Education???

The son of Tun Madey has commented to abolish vernacular school and maintain only single school system with Malay as the language except for Sc and Maths. Hhhhmmm... What is actually his point / objective? Let me try to think... mmmmmmmm.... Hah...!!!
The obvious reason is maybe because he is damn racist just like his beloved father. He cannot stand to see that any other races in this country can have a school of their own mother tounge and going separately from the mainstream education. He always support the Malay Supremacy and the existance of these vernacular schools threatens the supremacy status of Malay. Possible?? Very possible indeed...

Another reason that I can think of is because he wants the excellent study culture of chinese and indian students can be examplified by the malay students (a better positive assumption I guess... hahaha)...

If the reason is because of ego of not accepting other races as Malaysians, I do not want to touch anymore because I think I had enough arguments with so many of my Malay frineds which still do not understand or refuse to accept the irrelevance of racism anymore. But if the second reason is the issue, I would like to bring out thoughts to one perspective.

Is the academic excellence achieved because of the school, race or the individual attitude of the student???

People... Please understand one important thing. Our forefathers did not have the luxury of education facilities like we do today and moreover our children in the future. What really matter is the determination to strive and excel in whatever condition we're in.

The culture in Malay community with the imposement of Malay Supremacy principle by the UMNO has bogged the Malay students down and subconciously affecting their determination to excel. Why? Because they know that one fine day after their SPM, they are almost guaranteed a place in the university especially public university and there are so many goverment loans that they can apply. Therefore, doing just enough is what they are doing. JUST ENOUGH...!! Not the best but just enough...

Look at the chinese and indians. They have to excel and do their best so that they can be accepted in PRIVATE university with study LOANS. So they won't have to trouble their parents too much thinking about their own education. They have to strive for excellence. HAVE TO....!!

I am not questioning the privilege rights of the Malays as stated in Malaysian Constitution. I am questioning the need for a more competitive environment in stimulating the minds of our children to strive for excellency. We are going global, not just local. Without excellent mindset and positive attitudes, we won't survive the wave of globalisation and most importantly, our children won't be able to live their life like we live ours.

Unfortunately, my arguments will still be based on the IRRELEVANCE of MALAY SUPREMACY....!!!

Hajj...

Alhamdulillah... My Brother Hasnan has arrived at the Holy City of Mecca to perform Hajj..

What is Hajj actually? According to Oxford dictionary, the pilgrimage to Mecca which all Muslims are expected to make at least once. Performing Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam. Why? What is the big privilege or benefit of performing Hajj? It is quite costly nowadays but still Muslims all over the world willing and for some dying to perform.

There are several ritual acts must be perform in completing Hajj which includes Ihram, Wukuf, Tawaf, Sa'e, Stoning, Tahallul, etc. There are a lot of virtues and benefits for performing Hajj. (can read here http://www.islamicwell.com/Hajj.htm, or any other studies done by muslims scholar or even western scholar. The best source would be the Quran and Hadith used together with your own God-given mind).

The Hajj is the demonstration of the reality that in Islam all roads lead to the House of Allah, where nationality, race, and difference of doctrine are all blown away. The hajjis come from everywhere, from every country, every continent and every background. They come flying, sailing and by land. But whoever they are, wherever they come from and however they come, they are drawn by only one thing and to only one point – their desire to worship Allah at His House and perform the rites of the Hajj.

See...??? Islam has never thought us to be racist. What is there in Malay, Chinese, Indian, etc?? What matters most is the level of Iman which will be considered. Recently another bomb was dropped when Chua Soi Lek spoke out against Ketuanan Melayu. I read in a blog saying that he is desperately positioning himself in his party. Still want to deny the fact that race based politics is irrelevant? God has given us good brain for us to think and think in accordance to the teachings of Islam. Why not use them and we'll be a better man especially a better Muslim?

The answer is simple... They have so many skeletons in their closet that if ever they are being transparent, they definitely will be in trouble. That's all.. Simple...

Then... What about us the normal people?? Are we also being blinded by these tricks by the Amenos??

p/s: semoga Nan mendapat Haji yang mabrur... Insya-Allah..
