Who is Anwar Ibrahim...???

Who is Anwar Ibrahim?? Is he a saint? American agent? Gay? Ulama? Great leader? Hypocrite? Talam dua muka? Opportunist?

So many questions asked on who on earth this Anwar Ibrahim really is.. No one can answer it correctly except for himself. I believe none of others know who he really is including definitely myself.

Personally, I've only met Anwar Ibrahim twice. The 1st was during his visit for speech day in 2004 and another was at his house 2 days before he was caught by the police for his 1st sodomy allegation. So, I do not have the bloody right to tell who is this Anwar Ibrahim as I don't personally know him.

What I do know is that he represent the hope of a new Malaysia. Why Malaysia has to be renewed? My personal opinion is that the current leadership of UMNO and BN has become complacent for being too long at the helm. No other political party or opposition alliance that can threaten the position held by them. They have ignored the suffering of the Rakyat but instead just thinking of their own interest. They just prioritise their own desire which definitely directly make the people suffer more.

Recent development shows that they have ignored their duties as the country leaders just to concentrate on relinquishing Anwar from his position now, to make sure that they stay at the helm. Who is suffering? Not them..

This morning I heard from the news FOMCA's statement that the reduction in fuel price will dampened the objective of urging people to use public transport as people will go back to using their own vehicle. So stupid and naive.. They can make these kind of statements as they are not significantly affected by the hike in fuel price. They have enough to cover the increase in travelling cost which we as 'marhein' people don't have.

Furthermore, our public transportation is so lousy that we will definitely running late to work due to delay timing, not enough busses / trains, etc.. Have these people actually experienced the rush hour travelling using public transport? So inconvenient. But, we people couldn't have that option of convenient or not as we are being forced to take these lousy means of transportation due to the hike in fuel price. Fair?

Will Anwar be able to solve these problems? I don't know. I do not intend to have any bet on this. Then why we have to vote him and hope for him?

Because.... He is the only capable opposition leader in Malaysian history that can provide threat to the ruling government.. He is the only one (although we don't even know yet his capabilities in governing the country) in the opposition that has vast experience being in the government..

Some people that I've met raise doubts over his sodomy allegation. Come on people... Why don't you also point out the current leaders personal problem?? Womanizer, corrupted to the max, cronysm, nepotism, etc.. For me, and I believe most of the sane people in the country, do not punish Anwar based on allegations. We'll wait until he is proven guilty BEYOND any reasonable doubts. Can the judiciary provide this to us?

I am not obsessed with Anwar Ibrahim. I never did. But I am so obsessed for good governance in our country. Being a Malaysian, the current government has done too much damage to the country especially the people. Wake up people..!!
